Medela Calma Teat
Medela Calm Teat has a patented air valve system that only lets the milk flow when the baby creates suction. It is suitable for all ages, eliminates the need to adjust the flow rate and adapts to Medela's collection and storage bottles. Calma can be cleaned, stored and transported, and is manufactured without BPA.

Indications
Medela Calm Teat, allows baby to maintain the natural feeding behaviour learned at the breast, unlike conventional teats. The Calm Teat adapts to the baby's mouth, allowing it to feed using the feeding behaviour it has learned naturally.
Properties
Medela Calm Teat allows:
- the baby to accept the breast again easily, without having to learn a new feeding technique.
- the baby drinks, breathes and takes breaks according to its own natural rhythm, remaining calm and relaxed during and after the meal.
- the baby is in control of the feeding process as it does so in the same way as when it feeds.
It consists of a protective cap, silicone piece, top (milk flow control system), base (air control system) and multi-tap. The protective cap is made of polypropylene and closes the bottle to prevent spillages. The base and top are made of polypropylene and thermoplastic elastomer.
Results
The sucking, swallowing and breathing technique allows the baby to remain calm and comfortable. Safe feeding as the baby doesn't swallow air during breastfeeding.
